The Consult4Kids store is where we keep the practical resources we have built for the adults and systems around children. Our view is simple: children have stronger experiences when the grown-ups who lead their programs are prepared, supported and confident. Everything in this store is aimed at that goal.
Who shops the Consult4Kids store
The resources here are written for people doing the work:
- site coordinators who keep an after-school program running day to day
- group leaders who spend the most direct time with children
- program directors responsible for several sites or a whole organization
- volunteers and new staff who want a clear starting point
If you are a parent or a community member who supports youth programs, you will also find material that helps you understand what good programming looks like and how to back it.
Courses, guides and snippets in the store
The store includes courses, guides and shorter snippets drawn from our larger materials. Some items focus on leadership, such as how a site coordinator leads a team well. Others focus on daily practice: learning children’s names quickly, planning activities, and building routines that make a program feel safe and predictable. Each listing describes what it covers and who it is for, so take a minute to read that before you choose.
Picking the resource your program needs
The best purchase is the one that solves a problem you actually have. Before you browse, write down the one thing at your site you would most like to improve this season. Then look for the resource that speaks directly to it. If two items seem close, start with the shorter one and see how your team responds. You can always build from there.
A quick example
Suppose your new staff struggle during the first week of a session because they do not yet know the children. A short course on learning names, used by the whole team before the session starts, could ease that week more than a long leadership guide would. Match the size of the resource to the size of the problem.

The reason behind the shelf
Children only get one childhood, and many of their best hours happen outside the classroom in programs run by dedicated adults. Strengthening those adults is the most direct way we know to strengthen what children experience. The store exists to make that support easy to find and easy to use.
Browse with your one problem in mind, ask us anything, and take home what fits your program.
