On Demand Professional Development
Consult 4 Kids offers a wide variety of On Demand, asynchronous professional development designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals working with youth in schools, afterschool programs, and community organizations. Our training system provides five levels of learning engagement—Courses, Classes, Modules, Minis, and Tinies—allowing participants to choose the depth and duration that best fits their learning goals and schedules.
1.Tiny
A Tiny is a single, focused video—usually 4 to 10 minutes long—that tackles one essential topic. These bite-sized trainings are perfect for quick learning moments or staff meetings.
2.Minis
Minis expand upon this concept, offering a cluster of three short videos that explore a single theme from several perspectives, helping participants apply strategies in real-world contexts.
3.Modules
Modules address broader topics with multiple interconnected components. For instance, our Trilogy Module explores Managing the Environment, Behavior Guidance, and Positive Discipline—three crucial skills for creating safe, engaging, and productive learning environments.
4.Classes
Classes take a deeper dive into a single topic, encouraging critical thinking, multiple viewpoints, and practical implementation.
5.Courses
At the most comprehensive level are our Courses, which offer complete learning experiences around key frameworks. A prime example is The Nifty 9, which examines nine essential practices for success, guiding learners step by step through each component and skill necessary for effective program leadership and youth engagement.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, these asynchronous opportunities make it possible for busy professionals to learn at their own pace, revisit material as needed, and complete their professional development on a schedule that works for them.
